Du Pont Telecom, a national distributor of telecommunications equipment and voice-based solutions, has been appointed as a licensed agent for the industry-leading BoXiT range of PABX and IP PBX-related value-added voice, data and cellular communications products.

Graeme Victor, CEO of Du Pont Telecom says the company’s sales and technical teams have already undergone extensive training on the product to ensure it is fully supported throughout the country.
BoXiT provides a cost-effective alternative to businesses wanting the communications productivity and CRM enhancement capabilities of cutting-edge PABX technology, without having to invest in a new full-function, bells-and-whistles unit.
It allows businesses to keep and enhance their existing PABX with the specific features they require by simply “plugging in” the appropriate BoXiT solution.
“This versatility greatly extends the ability of telecoms resellers to tailor solutions to their customers’ precise requirements,” Victor says.

A modular product, BoXiT can be configured in a wide range of combinations that enable users to select only those features they believe will add real value to their organisations.
Popular modules are the BoXiT Automated Attendant, which can be implemented to direct callers to a range of pre-recorded instructions in up to three languages, and the BoXiT Voicemail facility that allows for between 48 and 500 mailboxes to be set up and maintained.
BoXiT Voicemail not only enables customers to leave a message for the right person, it can also ensure  recipients of messages are notified of their messages regardless of whether they are at their desk or on the other side of the world.  In addition, they are able to retrieve their messages from any location on virtually any device: BoXiT’s unified messaging capability, for example, enables voice messages to be emailed as a wav-attachment.
Then there’s a personal fax service which allows users to receive faxes into their email inbox using their existing telephone numbers.
