Internet users across South Africa will experience intermittent service interruptions over the next few days – but don't worry, it's simply a sign that spring is here and it won't affect systems for long.

From today (29 August) until Saturday (1 September), the spring equinox will have an effect on satellites, and thus the Radiokop Earth Station, and service will be interrupted for between one and eight minutes.
All points of presence (PoPs) countrywide will be affected between 15h42 and 15h50 on each of the four days, but service will resume as normal thereafter.
