MultiPath Customer Solutions, an award-winning contact centre provider with more than sixty years of call centre management experience, was recently awarded the contract to manage the Africa wide contact centre services for Gateway Broadcast Services (GTV).
The direct-to-home, satellite-based service will deliver the highest quality digital reception across the continent. GTV is delivered across Gateway Communications’ satellite infrastructure and an advanced and efficient delivery platform will substantially reduce the cost and ease of set-up for customers.
GTV is already available in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Rwanda and Zambia and is currently proceeding with a phased roll-out across sub-Saharan Africa including Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
And MultiPath Customer Solutions is providing customer service to all GTV customers as they come on line in these countries – all at one central point, their contact centre in Randburg.
The challenge presented to MultiPath is the wide variety of languages, and to meet this need a team of trained MultiPath Customer Solutions consultants will handle all queries and questions in diverse tongues like Swahili, Kalanga, Shona, Oshiwambo, Nama, Rukwangali and Akan. Another challenge to providing service has been the need to successfully roll out a supporting VSAT network to a number of the countries.
