Jack White, who has kept the nation guessing about his next move, has taken a job in the telecommunications industry, as head of marketing for Richmark Holdings.
Although this may seem poles apart from rugby, Richmark is headed up by sports enthusiast Gavin Varejes, who is also president and founder of SA Rugby Legends.
White will be based in his hometown of Cape Town.
He will also retain consultancy ties with Verso and Discovery and has also agreed to take on short projects for the International Rugby Board.
Meanwhile, White's autobiography, "In Black and White" looks set to become a South African best-seller, having notched up 150 000 copies.
