‘Cheapest’ tablet goes on sale in SA
TabletWorld, a division of LuckyMobile, has launched what it believes is the cheapest full-featured premium 3G tablet in South Africa with a price tag of R2 299.00.
The Dynapad is a 7-inch tablet with a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, Android 2.2 and a 5-megapixel camera.
It comes pre-installed with a range of amazing apps including Angry Birds, Kindle reader, TuneinRadio, Facebook, Twitter, News24, DropBox, Soundhound, Jango and IMDB.
TabletWorld founder Laurence Seberini comments: “With this product, we want to make premium tablets accessible to a whole new segment of the market that could not afford them before.
“The wide selection of apps available for this Android device as well as the low price-tag makes it perfect for businessmen that need access to work documents and e-mails on the go.
“It is also a perfect fit for people who want Web and email access, yet cannot afford a full-featured PC or notebook,” he says. “And, if you already own a notebook, you’ll love the freedom that having a lightweight mobile device gives you to be productive without dragging your mobile computer everywhere you go.”
