Vodacom is to sell parts of Gateway Carrier Services for $26,4-million.
The company announced that it has agreed to sell some of the investments, supplier agreements and assets of Gateway Carrier Services, which forms part of Vodacom Business Africa.
It is believed the sale it to PCCW, a Hong Kong-based telecommunications company.
According to a SENS announcement the agreement will include Gateway Communications, Gateway Communications (Belgium), Gateway Communications UK, Gateway Communications Mozambique and Gateway Communications France as well as supplier agreements and assets of Gateway Communications Africa (UK).
Vodacom bought Gateway in 2008 for about $700-million.
