Intervate achieves Microsoft gold competency

Intervate, a specialist provider of enterprise information management solutions, is the first Microsoft partner in South Africa to attain the gold search competency.
“Achieving the gold competency in search emphasises Intervate’s ability to deliver robust search solutions based on the latest Microsoft technologies,” says Peter Reid, search specialist at Intervate. “By attaining this competency, we are better positioned to improve customers search experiences.”
Uriel Rootshtain, office business lead at Microsoft South Africa, says search is no longer limited to matching keywords. By leveraging the search technology available in Microsoft SharePoint 2010, users can build powerful interfaces that allow people to extract answers from diverse and complex datasets, quickly and simply.
“Intervate has been delivering search solutions in South Africa for several years, and their attainment of the newly-launched gold search competency highlights their abilities in this growing field,” says Rootshtain.
Reid believes Intervate’s keen focus on customer experience, combined with 13 years of experience in understanding end-user’s behaviour and quickly and easily connecting them to required information, uniquely positions the company to provide an engaging and effective search experience.
“Combined with our strong technical pedigree and award-winning user-focused approach, we provide a personally tailored, responsive and accurate search experience that increases productivity and efficiency,” adds Reid.
“Intervate constantly strives to improve our expertise and knowledge in our core focus areas. By adding the gold search competency to our existing gold competencies – which include digital marketing, portals and collaboration and content management – Intervate is well equipped to deliver comprehensive Enterprise Content Management solutions to our customers.”
