Software AG has announced it was positioned by Gartner, a leading industry analyst firm, in the Leaders Quadrant of the recently published Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic Application Integration Projects.
In gaining this recognition, vendors were evaluated based on their products ability to execute and completeness of vision.
“We believe recognition of this magnitude is appreciated and echoes what our customers tell us,” says Ivo Totev, chief marketing officer and member of the group executive board, Software AG.
“We have helped those customers use our integration technology to solve a variety of challenges, delivering billions of dollars in new revenue and cost savings in the process.”
Gartner’s evaluation of Software AG was based on its family of products in its flagship webMethods platform. webMethods, which supports any type of integration, acts as a single integration backbone to connect ERP (enterprise resource planning), CRM (customer relationship management), cloud-based applications and legacy systems.
“The strength of our webMethods Suite is that it is highly modular while still being tightly integrated,” adds Totev.
“It integrates on premise and SaaS offerings and it also works hand-in-hand to bring in data from external sources such as trading partners. Taken together, this helps customers maximise their return on investment with increased asset reuse.”
