Higher earnings expected for Metrofile

Metrofile Holdings has published a trading statement, warning shareholders of significant increases in its earnings.

The company states that headline earnings per share (HEPS) and earnings per shares (EPS) for the year ending 30 June 2012 are expected to be between 18% and 21% higher than the previous corresponding reporting period, when they were between 21,4 and 21,9 cents per share.

The board intends to recommend a final dividend of 4,5 cents per share making a total of 7,5 cents (2011: 4,5 cents) for the full year, an increase of 67%.

Metrofile will release its results for the year ended 30 June 2012 on around 30 August 2012.
