A sterling line-up of speakers will educate, entertain and inform delegates to the upcoming Hitachi Information Forum, set to take place in Johannesburg on 20 August.
Bob Plumridge is the Chief Technology Officer for Hitachi Data Systems in Europe Middle East & Africa.
With more than 30 years’ experience in storage, he is responsible for aligning our technology and business strategy and evangelising this vision.
He will be joined on the day by David Merrill, Chief Economist of Hitachi Data Systems. He works with the organisation’s largest global and strategic clients, specialising in strategic planning, advanced storage architectures and storage economics.
Delegates will also hear from Rob Woods, who has worked for Hitachi for more than 20 years and most recently came to HDS to drive the UCP business in EMEA.
Rob has previously worked in the electronic components division of Hitachi and following this moved to the Information System Group where he was responsible for retail and finance sector sales teams. He has also has spent time at Microsoft in the Dynamics ERP team before moving back to Hitachi Europe and then HDS in 2009.
