After more than 25 years at the company, Nashua MD David Coutinho has resigned to “pursue other interests”.

Coutinho joined Nashua in the late 1980s as national sales manager under then-MD Jac Moolman. He later succeeded Chris Scoble as MD of the company.

In a brief memo sent to Nashua directors, staff and franchise holders, Reunert executive Dave Rawlinson announced Coutinho’s departure and the appointment of Dave Hallas as acting MD.

“It is with regret that I inform you that David Coutinho has resigned from Nashua Limited to pursue other interests,” Rawlinson says in the memo. “Dave has had a long and colourful career at Nashua and has been pivotal in driving the strategies of Nashua Limited. His drive and commitment will be missed by all.

“We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

“Dave Hallas has been appointed acting managing director of Nashua Limited,” Rawlinson says. “Congratulations to him and I am sure that you will give him the loyalty and commitment that he deserves.”
