USB 3.0 connectivity enables transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, 10 times the speed of USB 2.0. The drive is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 connections, and ships preformatted in FAT-32 format for instant plug and play usage on both PC and Mac devices.
