Converged communications provider, Turrito Networks, a MicroMega Group company, has for the fourth consecutive year been awarded the Vodacom Convergence Partner of the Year.

In addition to being the biggest revenue partner in fixed line telecommunications for Vodacom, Turrito Networks has also established itself as a consistently high performing and strategic partner for delivering solutions and services to a growing SME market.

“Our culture at Vodacom has always been to acknowledge and recognise excellent and outstanding performance from both our staff and business partners,” says Wanda Matandela, Managing Executive: Enterprise Business Unit at Vodacom.

Adds Louis Jardim, commercial director and co-founder of Turrito Networks: “Recognition of this calibre, is a strong reminder of the reason we do what we do.

Small and medium businesses in South Africa deserve to have the tier one services and access to world class infrastructure that enterprises and large corporates have become increasingly accustomed to.”

Jardim believes that there is no reason to reinvent the wheel. Network operators like Vodacom have built the infrastructure and it is now up to organisations like Turrito Networks to build a bridge between that infrastructure and the SME.

“In the last financial year Vodacom Enterprise Business performed extremely well. This would not have been possible without the sterling performance and contribution from the likes of Turrito Networks. As one of our most valuable business partners, the accolade received is a symbol of appreciation and excellent performance,” concludes Matandela

In addition to the four consecutive Convergence Partner of the Year awards, Turrito Networks was also the only convergence partner to receive the CEO Award and with it recognition at the Vodacom Group level.
