Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has taken home honours at APC by Schneider Electric’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) Partner Conference, held in Budapest, Hungary from 10 to 13 May 2015.
DCC received the “Against All Odds – South Africa” award which is based on the distributor who achieved overall targets and met year-on-year growth.

The award criteria was based on targets achieved in the categories of three-phase Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPSs), single phase UPSs, rack solutions and accessories, cooling and power distribution, security solutions as well as the transactional HBN products.

“2014 has been one of the most challenging years for South Africa and despite this, DCC managed to reach targets and deliver good results. DCC performed extremely well, capturing growth opportunities presented in 2015. We at APC congratulate the DCC team for their support in overcoming the challenges faced and expect great success this year and in the years to come,” says Bruce Grobler, director for the IT Business at Schneider Electric Southern Africa.

The MEA Partner Conference is an annual event hosted by APC. It offers an excellent opportunity for APC distributors, resellers and channel partners to stay up to date on the latest APC products, strategies and goals.

It is also an opportunity to network and receive feedback on and recognition for performance over the past year. Ultimately the aim of the event is to drive continuous improvement and enhanced customer service delivery, something which the awards help to reinforce.

“We have been recognised consistently over the past decade for our efforts and are pleased to have received yet another award. This award provides us with the ongoing recognition of our dedication to the APC brand and our commitment to results. It is also testimony to all the efforts by our dedicated APC team,” concludes Elrica Quick, APC product manager at DCC.
