Telkom has become the first broadband provider in South Africa to offer 50Gb broadband bundles for R699 across four broadband technologies.

The broadband bundles will be available to retail customers over Telkom’s FTTH, LTE-A, LTE and XDSL networks from today (1 June 2015).

The new 50Gb broadband bundles will be available on 24-month contracts and will include a WiFi enabled router. In addition, customers that take up the Fibre or XDSL offer will receive a DSTV Explora Decoder, while stock lasts.

Retail customers that are currently on the Do Premium Bundle will also benefit from the new price.

Depending on the broadband network bundles, customers can receive up to 150Mbps on LTE-A, 90Mbps on LTE, 10Mbps on Fibre and 10Mbps on XDSL.

“The new R699 broadband bundles offer is going to further drive high speed broadband penetration across all of our latest and fastest broadband networks,” says Attila Vitai, MD of Telkom Mobile and Consumer.

“We know our customers are looking for high speed broadband along with innovative and fresh products and services. So with this in mind, we are consistently looking at new ways to meet their needs and we are confident this new, and very well-priced 50Gb bundle, will be well-received.”
