HansaWorld’s flagship Standard ERP product has won a Bronze International Stevie Award for Best New Product of 2015 in the Mobile Development Solution category.
This marks the second time HansaWorld has won a Stevie, having secured the International Stevie Award for Best New Product or Service of the Year (Computer Software) in 2009.
With a nomination of ‘Standard ERP, the only full ERP on all platforms’, HansaWorld has impressed the global panel of business personalities which decides the awards.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners were selected from more than 3,700 nominations received from organisations and individuals in more than 60 nations. The award will be presented to HansaWorld in October.
Viesturs Zalaiskalns, channel manager at HansaWorld South Africa, says the recognition is an affirmation of the company’s strategy to bring a unified enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to market. “Some of the business world’s leading minds have taken a close look at our software and, with the announcement of a Bronze Stevie, given it the thumbs up.”
He notes that, early this year, the company made an announcement that would take a unified approach to ERP with its single HansaWorld Standard solution. “That includes a complete focus on cloud software delivered as a service, with a product range uniquely characterised by its ability to scale from a single user ‘mini ERP’ system able to run on mobile handsets, all the way to handling substantial business operations with hundreds of users. It operates across Windows, Linux, iOS, OSX and Android – and that has found favour with the Stevie judges.”
Comments from the judges include one noting the cross-platform operability of the solution: “Standard ERP works on all operating systems (including a mix), which is a boon to clients; excellent backing and archiving capabilities [are] evidenced.”
