Esquire Technologies has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Innovation through Technology Award Category in this year’s National Business Awards.
Esquire Technologies has developed the World’s first custom-tailored supply chain management system called the Virtual Reseller Network (VRN) which meets the priorities and distribution requirements of the online e-commerce, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets and currently serves a customer base of over 12 500 active partners and more than 400 online stores across the southern African region.
This year, about 100 companies covering a range of categories, including Top Performing Entrepreneur of 2015, Top Young Executive of the Year, Infrastructure Development Award, Investing in People Award, and National Business of the Year, entered the Awards. In order to be shortlisted, as a finalist companies must meet certain criteria, such as an annual turnover of R35-million, showing strong year-on-year growth, and providing a compelling motivation.
Organisations demonstrating innovation, year-on-year growth, sustainability and excellence in service are among the finalists of the 13th annual National Business Awards. This year’s finalists’ collective turnover comes to an impressive R300-billion plus. Some of these businesses are Group Five, Coca-Cola South Africa, Vodacom and Woolworths Holdings.
In collaboration with the Top Performing Companies publication, the National Business Awards is a prestigious event in which inspirational business leaders from various industries are celebrated for outstanding performance in the world of business and government. The winners will be announced at a gala event at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg on 19 November 2015.
