The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) has warned prospective bidders about a scam currently circulating around the country which seeks to request or demand a non-refundable fee for DPSA tenders.
In a statement issued today, the department states: “The DPSA does not charge any fee for tender/bid documentation, therefore all prospective bidders are cautioned about a current scam where the DPSA name is been used to fraudulently charge non-refundable fees for tender/bid documents, as well as fictitious orders placed for goods and services.
“All official tender/bid documentation which exceeds the expected value of R500 000.00 is freely available and will always be published on the DPSA website, Government Tender Bulleting and the eTender Portal hosted by National Treasury.”
