3D printing company CAD House is opening its doors to the general public on 3 December 2015 as part of a global initiative called Global 3D Printing Day.
CAD House is an authorised distributor and service agent of 3D printing equipment, 3D scanners and related computer aided design software solutions, selling prominent 3D printing brands like 3D Systems, Wanhao, Flashforge and more.
CAD House services its clients both locally and internationally.
On the 3D Printing Day CAD House will offer special deals to the public and clients as well as host live demonstrations on all its 3D printers and scanners for anyone wanting to learn more about 3D printing.
CAD House’s Bernhard Vogt says the global initiative will see participation from countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, India, Mexico, The Netherlands, Spain, the UK and US.
3d Printing Day is an initiative of 3D Hubs, which has created a global community of 3D printing through its partnerships with manufacturers, users, distributors and innovators. Today it has a footprint in over 150 countries with 24 239 printers.
Says Vogt: “On 3d Printing Day we are inviting all owners and participants of 3D Hubs in the country to join us in showcasing their capabilities. We basically have the space and you bring your toys. On the day our doors are open to members of the public, school groups or anyone who has an interest.”
CAD House will have all its 3D printers on display – including its desktop 3D printers from Cubify, Wanhao and Flashforge. “We will also have our professional 3D printers running. They include full colour 3D printers, high definition and wax 3D printers. Members of the public will also have an opportunity to see our brand new SLS production 3D printer in action.”
Other demonstrations will include 3D scanning.
Vogt says members of the public can also take advantage of several discounts on products and services on offer including filaments.
