FNB Life is expanding the number of convenient channels to take up its Funeral Plan by adding it to the FNB Cellphone Banking platform.
The introduction of a more convenient channel will contribute to broadening financial inclusion by allowing customers to take up funeral insurance anywhere, anytime. FNB Life says on average, it takes only two minutes to take up a Funeral Plan via FNB Cellphone Banking, making it by far the easiest way to take up an FNB Funeral policy.
“We plan to drastically improve convenient access to funeral insurance by maximising FNB’s readily available infrastructure,” says Lee Bromfield, CEO of FNB Life.

Consumers are now in control of a transparent take-up process to get the cover they want and need, under terms and conditions they understand.”
FNB account holders can immediately use the FNB Cellphone Banking platform to take up funeral cover.
