Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has recently announced the availability of Huawei’s MediaPad T1 Android tablet, available in a 7-inch and 10-inch version. This provides users with the ideal tablet that want their tablet to fit in with the rest of their Android devices along with exceptional features and benefits.
Says Heinrich Pretorius, Huawei product specialist at DCC: “The 7-inch version offers a compact tablet experience while the 10-inch MediaPad T1 offers a larger viewing area and more processing power. The Huawei MediaPad T1 will transform the way you enjoy entertainment on the go. Full HD video playback, HSPA and data connectivity means you can enjoy streaming video and watching movies, wherever you are. It has a higher capacity battery for longer operational time, making the MediaPad T1 the perfect entertainment companion on road trips, long flights or the remote productivity device.”
There are currently 50,4-million tablet computers shipped worldwide every quarter, and Statista predicts that by 2018 this will rise to 383,3-million units quarterly. “It’s undeniable that tablet computing is rising in popularity,” says Pretorius, “In addition to a smartphone and laptop, most consumers also have a tablet computer in their gadget collection.”
The Huawei MediaPad T1 offers a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and Emotion UI 3.0 firmware for a fresh, user-friendly interactive experience. With full HD 1080p viewing pleasure, users can enjoy video, gaming and more in crystal-clear resolution. This device offers two cameras, front and rear, both capable of 2MP images.
“Unlike other tablet devices, the Huawei MediaPad T1 is expandable up to 32GB with the insertion of a MicroSD card, which means you are able to load media, like movies and music onto a card to enjoy on the MediaPad, and swap cards as necessary. There’s also an HDMI port, which lets you connect your tablet to a smart television or any other HDMI-enabled device as a second screen,” Pretorius says.
The 10-inch Huawei MediaPad T1 offers users a 9.6-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. Like its 7-inch counterpart, it also runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0 firmware, but offers much more processing power with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip. With 16GB of ROM and 1GB of RAM, users will enjoy a fast, highly-efficient tablet computing experience.
“Whether you choose the Huawei MediaPad T1 for yourself or your children, for use at home or on the move, you’ll enjoy all the practical convenience this tablet has to offer. The MediaPad T1 is also a Huawei Cloud device, which makes it easy to back up, share and secure your device and its data,” Pretorius concludes.
The 7-inch Huawei MediaPad T1 and the 10-inch Huawei MediaPad T1 is immediately available.
