Gartner has positioned South African Striata as a niche player in its 2015 Magic Quadrant for Customer Communications Management (CCM) Software.

The report presents an evaluation of qualifying industry players based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision.

According to the report, “Gartner estimates that CCM was an $800 million market for fiscal year 2014, and it is expected to show a compound annual growth rate of 9.8% from 2015 to 2020. Cost optimisation remains one of strongest drivers for CCM — more than 70% of the customers Gartner surveyed reported that their top goal for implementing CCM was reducing the costs associated with printing and postage. This means a shift away from print to electronic communications.”

Customer communications management software enables organisations to create and deliver personalised communications to customers easily, through any output medium.

“We consider our positioning by Gartner in the Niche Quadrant as a ratification of the significant strides Striata has made in the CCM space,” says Michael Wright, CEO of Striata.

“Combining our market leading Secure Document Delivery with our soon to be launched Secure Document Repository, we are able to provide a comprehensive digital customer communications solution for our clients,” he adds.

Striata is one of the few digital-only companies to be recognised by Gartner in its CCM Magic Quadrant, which Wright believes is testament to the degree of digital adoption in the communications arena, traditionally a print-dominated space, and the effective results digital delivers.

Striata was founded in South Africa in 1999 and is today a recognised leader in its field with operations in South Africa, the US, UK and Asia and partners in North and South America, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific.
