A number of MTN customers are still experiencing connectivity problems, despite a fix that has alleviated some of the problems.
Intermittent connectivity issues affecting about 1-million voice, SMS and data customers were supposedly fixed on Monday evening.
However, says MTN in a statement, although engineers implemented a solution which alleviated some of the problems and restored service, some subscribers are still experiencing connectivity challenges.
“We are continuing our investigations with the support of all the parties in order to fully restore services. Our engineers are currently working on resolving the issue as soon as possible,” according to the statement.
“MTN wishes to sincerely apologise to affected customers for any inconvenience experienced.”
