ICT distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has appointed Tasneem Sayed as its new Samsung Product Specialist. Sayed will assist the internal sales team, raise the Samsung brand within DCC’s reseller community and manage the product portfolio including printers, monitors as well as consumables. 
Sayed will take national responsibility for the brand within DCC. Various factors such as the product’s target market, new target markets to tackle, pricing, stock holding, forecasting as well as how the product fits within the company’s business model are all aspects that need to be considered with the position. This is a challenging but exciting role Sayed is ready to take on.

Sayed has garnered nearly a decade’s experience within the Information Technology (IT) distribution environment and is well positioned for success at DCC.  She previously worked in a sales environment where she gained exposure to internal and external sales for a number of distribution companies, providing her with a solid foundation in the industry. The skills Sayed gained in the development, maintenance and performance of all sales staff and activities, as well as strategising customer base expansion, have prepared her for this position of looking after a Tier 1 brand such as Samsung.
With her previous sales background, knowledge of reseller’s requirements coupled with her experience in a sales and managerial position for three years, Sayed is ready to meet her goals of increasing awareness of the Samsung brand in the market and growing market share.”
