Jasco awarded ECI gold partner status

Jasco, a value-added reseller of products for ECI Telecom and provider of end-to-end solutions across the ICT value chain, has been awarded ECI Gold Partner Status.
ECI is a global provider of ELASTIC Network solutions to service providers, utility companies as well as data centre operators. Along with its longstanding, industry-proven packet-optical transport, ECI offers a variety of SDN/NFV applications, end-to-end network management and comprehensive cyber-security solutions.
“Once a year, ECI hosts a partner event to educate, network and acknowledge service from its global partners. There are certain criteria that partners need to meet, in order to be awarded Authorized, Gold or Elite partner status,” explains Martin Ferreira, Executive at Jasco Carrier Solutions, “Of the 45 worldwide partners in attendance this year, Jasco was the only one to be rewarded Gold partner status in southern Africa.
“What does achieving Gold partner status mean for our clients? It means that we can provide our clients with better terms and service. In addition to sales targets, we also have to meet technical accreditation goals. Our employees have to be certified by ECI, which enables us to provide better professional services and expertise that our customers can rely on.”
