Canon South Africa’s recently released PIXMA G1400, PIXMA G2400 and PIXMA G3400 colour ink printers are now available to the local channel from official distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC).
Featuring Canon’s new Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS), the PIXMA G1400, G2400 and G3400 are all capable of printing up to 7 000 colour and 6 000 black pages from a single set of ink bottles. The CISS uses refillable ink tanks to allow for high volume printing at a reduced cost per page.
The compact refillable ink tank models combine an aesthetic design and ease of use. The four high-yield, front facing ink tanks are immediately visible, making it simple and fast to check ink levels, as well as refill.
The printers are ideal for both home and business users that require document or photo printing. The PIXMA G1400 is a single function printer, while the PIXMA G2400 and PIXMA G3400 are All-in-One printers offering print, scan and copy functionalities. The G3400 is also Wi-Fi enabled and offers printing from a PC and smart devices through the “Canon PRINT app”. Cloud printing also lets you send documents and photos to print from anywhere in the world.
The Canon PIXMA G1400, PIXMA G2400 and PIXMA G3400 offer the following additional features:
* Pigment Black and Colour dye inks provide high quality documents. The dye colour inks enable users to create vibrant images to print borderless;
* For prints with high levels of detail the 2pl, 4800x1200dpi print engine offers smooth gradations and fine detail, perfect for documents or photographs;
* Cloud and remote printing from Google Drive, Facebook Flickr and Dropbox; and
* The printers all come with Canon’s My Image Garden software, which includes a range of applications including Creative Park for a variety personalised creations including cards, crafts and even high-detail paper arts.
The Canon PIXMA G1400, PIXMA G2400 and PIXMA G3400 come with a one year or 30 000 prints warrantee and are available immediately from DCC.
