Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has been reappointed an official Veritas Technologies distributor following a strategic realignment of the company’s channel focus in South Africa.
The reappointment underscores a 20-year existing partnership that has seen DCC and Veritas cement its business in the South African information management marketplace.
DCC retained Veritas’ business based on its ability to offer critical value-add services to the South African channel which includes architecture design, installation and important after-sales service. Furthermore, DCC will be able to readily support Veritas’ strategy to widen its SA market reach in the coming years.
Says Fred Mitchell, business unit division manager at DCC: “Throughout our relationship with Veritas we’ve shown flexibility and the ability to evolve our business to compliment Veritas’ channel approach. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Veritas.”
DCC will be responsible for Veritas’ entire product range in SA which includes its backup and recovery, business continuity, storage management and information governance products. The reappointment takes place with immediate effect.
