The new Samsung Galaxy Note7 will now be available in South Africa from 23 September and not from 2 September, as previously reported.
“The overwhelming global demand for the new and improved Galaxy Note7 resulted in a flood of orders,” says Craige Fleischer, director: integrated mobility at Samsung South Africa. “Appropriation of the initial consignment has required us to relook the local availability date of the smartphone to ensure fulfilment of all early orders.”
The new landed Samsung Galaxy Note7 provides consumers with iris scanning technology and as well as water and dust resistance, plus a curved symmetrical design and enhanced S Pen functionality.
The Note7 will be available from 23 September and pre-orders will commence on 9 September. During the pre-order phase ― between 9 and 23 September ― consumers will receive an additional accessory kit, worth R1 299.00, at no extra cost.
“We are very excited about the huge consumer demand and attribute it to the Note7’s unparalleled features. It confirms our position in defying barriers, always pushing the frontier of what’s possible,” Fleischer says.
The pre-order accessory kit consists of a wireless charger, a clear soft phone cover, a SB-c/USB adapter cable and two screen protectors.
