Security solutions provider, Netxactics, has announced that as of September this year it will extend its presence through the Eastern Cape region with the opening of a branch office in Port Elizabeth.
The operation will be headed up by newly-appointed Dominique le Roy, who will be responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives. The Port Elizabeth branch will operate as an extension of Netxactics’ existing office in Cape Town, but now offer products, services and support to a key area of the Eastern Cape region.
Netxactics has had a strong and loyal partner base spanning across South Africa and various neighbouring countries. Customers and partners in these areas have in the past been serviced directly from the company’s Johannesburg and Cape Town offices.
Pierre Louw, national sales manager at Netxactics, explains: “We decided to open a branch in Port Elizabeth for two main reasons.  Firstly, to increase our presence in the market in accordance with our long term expansion strategy and, secondly, to extend our products and services to the Eastern Cape. Our local presence will not only be of great benefit to our partners but also to customers in the area who use our products on a daily basis.”
The region will be serviced through Netxactics’ existing partner network. “We believe the Eastern Cape has immense potential.  Extending our partner programme to new channel partners in the area also represents an immense growth opportunity for Netxactics,” he adds.
The decision to open a branch in Port Elizabeth has been strengthened by the fact that this province has been earmarked as a key area for growth and economic development by Government. “Our decision to have local distributor presence shows our commitment to building a strong and competitive environment within the IT security industry,” says Louw.
The Eastern Cape further boasts a strong manufacturing base, particularly in the motor vehicle industry. These larger organisations require world-class security solutions. “Our partners have always had confidence in our ability to delivery IT security products. Having a direct presence in the area will enable our resellers to better service the needs of some of the biggest industry players.”
Port Elizabeth is a hub to a number of key commercial areas, such as East London for example, which will now benefit from a more centrally located business presence. ¬ The PE branch will be operational from 1 September this year.
