FibreCo Telecommunications, the national open-access fibre network operator, today announced the appointment of Simon Harvey as its interim CEO, taking over from Arif Hussain.
Harvey joined FibreCo at its inception in 2010 and has played a pivotal role as chief commercial officer, successfully driving revenue growth and network acquisition throughout the start-up phase, building up a client base comprising several major operators, service providers and other enterprise clients across South Africa.
Prior to this, Harvey held positions of manager at Deloitte Consulting and business development at Dimension Data. Harvey holds a BSc from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Wits Business School.
Former CEO Hussain leaves FibreCo after six years to pursue personal interests
