Prepaid24.com, a fast-growing online prepaid services company based in the southern Cape, is working closely with Blue Label Telecoms to take its business to the next level and expand its national footprint. Prepaid24.com is a strategic business partner for Blue Label and an online retailer of its prepaid services.
The company is a significant player in the Southern Cape economy, providing online prepaid solutions to some 200 000 registered household and business customers. It serves Eskom electricity clients, as well as clients in over 80 municipalities countrywide, including the large metropolitan municipalities.
In the next phase of its growth, Prepaid24.com will expand its service offering to include mobile data, lotto services, municipal bill payments and Telkom payments. It will also target areas beyond the major metropoles for the next phase of growth.
The vision is to become the leading payments company covering the full spectrum of monthly and prepaid expenses. Prepaid24.com has the capacity to service up to 90% of all prepaid electricity clients in South Africa. With its recently revamped support centre in Mossel Bay and the objective to employ up to 300 people within 24 months, the company aims to be a major employer in the southern Cape.
“We strive to deliver high service levels and quality products to our customers, working in partnership with Eskom, major local government authorities, and prepaid vendors like Blue Label,” says Ben Lindeque, business architect at Prepaid24.com. “We deliver the convenience and security consumers expect when they pay for their bills and services, making it easy for them to recharge airtime, electricity and data at a click of a button.”
Prepaid24.com has also secured former Springbok captain and rugby legend, Jean de Villiers, as a business development partner. De Villiers is joining company executives for a three-month roadshow in 2017 visiting small and rural towns where Prepaid24.com sees strong growth potential for its business.
“We have chosen to partner with Jean de Villiers because he embodies values that are central to our brand–dedication, excellence and passion. Having played in 109 tests and served as captain in 37 of those, De Villiers is a true leader who succeeded through practice and perseverance,” says Lindeque.
