Service delivery is in South Africa is always a hot topic, especially in the IT industry.
To this end ASUS South Africa not only appointed Rectron as one of its official distributors in 2016, but has recently appointed the distributor as an officially-approved service centre to ASUS.
“We are thrilled about building onto our relationship with Rectron to provide our customers across the country with an even better after sales experience. Looking at the need for service centres throughout South Africa, it only made sense for ASUS to take the steps to appoint Rectron to assist us in providing this service,” says Yolandi Venter, systems marketing manager at ASUS South Africa.
With service centres across the country in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein, Rectron will be cultivating customer experience providing before, during and after sales service.
All five Rectron branches will have the capacity to asses and repair ASUS notebooks and tablets that have been purchased through them as of 1 February 2017. Furthermore, they will also carry warranty parts on hand. Should a part be required that is not in stock or is a specialised order they will make the required arrangements to get the part within seven to 10 working days providing customers with an all-round service.
“This addition to our service line up goes a long way in supporting our vision of being a customer needs led organisation” says Martin Roets, operations director at Rectron.
In South Africa, the ASUS brand is currently synonymous with consistency, driven by the company’s passion; imagination; knowledge and most importantly, loyalty to its customers.
“Rectron’s highly skilled and capable staff are well equipped to be able to perform repairs to ASUS notebooks in addition to the existing portfolio of products including, Sony, Samsung, RCT, Gigabyte and BenQ.”
Roets adds that Rectron’s strategy is one of collaborative partnerships and that Rectron is committed to grow ASUS’s overall market share and brand equity in South Africa.
Rectron is a fully owned subsidiary of Mustek.
