Bytes Systems Integration, a specialist outsource service provider and end to end ICT systems integrator and part of the JSE-listed Altron Group, has announced a joint venture with the Performanta Group to provide information security services to South African and African enterprise customers.
Performanta is an information security consultancy that leads the field in information security, governance and transactional security.
The joint venture sees the creation of a specialist business unit within Bytes Systems Integration, Bytes Security Powered by Performanta, to market the joint security offerings to regional customers.
“The partnership with Performanta will enable us to provide comprehensive, end to-end information security solutions to our customers across the region,” says Rob Griggs, MD of Bytes Systems Integration.
“With this joint venture, we are perfectly placed to support enterprise customers with their information security needs, offering them the benefits of technology-agnostic services uniquely tailored to meet their individual requirements; cutting-edge IT security technology to respond to threats encountered across their security landscape; and appropriate security solutions based on an analysis of their information security risks,” adds Griggs.
Guy Golan, CEO of Performanta Group, says the partnership with Bytes Systems Integration, and thus the Altron Group, is a natural step forward between the two organisations, leveraging their synergistic attributes. The partnership, he believes, will create the largest security operation of its kind in Africa and will enhance information security services across the region.
“We see a distinct and clear gap in how information security is managed in Africa and with this partnership with Bytes, customers across the continent will enjoy the benefits of dealing with an organisation that has proven technical expertise and service delivery credentials to provide unmatched information security solutions,” he says.
