Peter Moyo, independent chairman of Vodacom, will retire and step down from the board at the forthcoming annual general meeting on 18 July 2017.
He will join Old Mutual Emerging Markets as its CEO in June 2017.
Moyo joined Vodacom at the company’s listing in May 2009.
