We use our iPhones every day, but you may be surprised to learn there are still a handful of things it can do that you probably don’t even know about.
Here are a few tips to help you spruce up your relationship with your iPhone from Apple Doctor, anational specialised Apple mobile device repairing company:

Tip 1: Calculator swipe trick
Get savvy with the calculator swipe trick. What if we told you that you can backspace the last number in the sequence with just a simple swipe?
Give it a try, instead of removing your entire sequence when making a mistake, just swipe the sequence to the left or right and voilà, the last number has been removed!
Did you know that your calculator also turns into a scientific calculator when your iPhone is flipped to the side?

Tip 2: Panoramic photo angle shift
We know how rewarding it is when you get to take a stunning panoramic in a beautiful setting. But what if the lighting and direction just doesn’t feel spot on from that direction?
Did you know that you can flip the starting direction on your phone when in the pano setting? Simply tap on the image on the yellow line, and see the direction swap out for the perfect panoramic photo.

Tip 3: Shake your mistakes away
Drafted a long message and suddenly decide that you don’t want to send it anymore? That’s okay, you can give your iPhone a quick shake and it will undo your message if you please. Quick sticks.

Tip 4: Do-not-disturb feature
We all need some time to ourselves every now and then. Set your DND function on your phone for a nice controlled break-away. You can either swipe the Control Center up from the bottom of the display and click on the symbol or go to Settings > Do Not Disturb > Manual.
The function allows you to not receive calls and alerts during the activation. You can also schedule the setting for certain times during the day. Just remember, incoming calls from your ‘favourites’ will not be silenced during the activation.
You can also choose to receive repeated calls, once this option has been enabled, the second call from the same person within three minutes will not be silenced.

Tip 5: Hidden level
Precision is everything. Hanging frames up on the wall can get unnecessarily stressful, and nobody wants that.
Did you know that your iPhone has a secret level built into it? This feature can come in handy for many scenarios – simply go in to the Compass App, swipe over to the left and see the interface change from compass to level.
The interface turns white and green when you hit a perfect 0° level surface, but any other time, it will be white and black. The level works in landscape, portrait and flat orientation, depending on your needs.

Tip 6: Saving the battery
Batteries don’t last forever, but we can help you with a few simple tips to make the best out of your lifeline before you get Apple Doctor to replace it.
Keep your low power mode on all the time, don’t just activate it when it automatically pops up after the 20% battery life warning pops up.
Always keep your iOS updated, this can help battery life especially on iPhone 6/6s and Plus.
Monitor your battery-consuming apps to find out who the main culprit is. Go to Settings > Battery and scroll down to see which of your apps were the biggest battery eaters in the past 24 hours, or last 7 days.
Keep your brightness down to as low as possible, but still on a setting that leaves your device usable.
