Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has been appointed an official distributor of Commvault, one of the world’s leading providers of data protection and information management solutions.
Available immediately to the South African channel, Commvault’s leadership has for the seventh consecutive year been confirmed by Gartner’s recent Magic Quadrant for Data Centre Backup and Recovery Software report which cites “completeness of vision” and the “ability to execute” excellence as some of company’s differentiators.
Jenny Rex, sales director of Drive Control Corporation (DCC), comments: “Our appointment as a Commvault distributor is a major step towards providing leading backup and data protection, and management solutions to the channel.
“Commvault will undoubtedly strengthen our software solutions division which is now mobilised towards providing customised development of solutions that fit business’ specific data management and backup requirements in various scenarios. We look forward to a strong and beneficial relationship going forward.”
Commvault’s district channel manager for South Africa, Gerhard Fourie, adds: “The appointment of DCC as a Commvault distributor is an instrumental component of our channel strategy as they will enable us to extend our reach more broadly through their national presence and tap into their close relationships with resellers previously untouched by Commvault. DCC’s solid track record as premium distributor and their extensive experience in the information management space made them a natural choice.”
Commvault offers data management solutions that span virtual, cloud, SaaS and traditional on-premise; solving complex challenges caused by rapidly changing technology, tightening resource requirements, and ever-expanding volumes of data.
