Leading IT distributor, Rectron, has teamed up with Intel and OnApp to provide resellers with a turnkey, hyper-converged cloud solution.
The tri-partite relationship will leverage off of existing partnerships between Rectron and Intel. While Rectron has long been a distributor of Intel-branded servers, Intel has been designing hardware systems specifically for OnApp’s software for several years.
Now, not only will resellers have access to both the hardware and software components of OnApp’s cloud solution, but they will also be provided with extensive technical support.
“With regards to technical know-how, Rectron has an intricate understanding of Intel’s products,” says Jean Pierre De Villiers, server product manager at Rectron. “At the same time, OnApp provides 24/7 support on the software side of the solution – all of which is just part of the reason why this is such a strong partnership.”
The solution itself also has a unique value proposition for the end client, he adds. “While much of what is available on the market is either very expensive or time-consuming to deploy, OnApp’s cloud solution offers impressive value for money and is able to be deployed in less than a day,” says De Villiers.
OnApp’s addition to Rectron’s cloud portfolio demonstrates its commitment to providing a highly robust range of cloud solutions to its reseller base.
