Rumours are swirling around Incredible Solutions, an IT distributor specialising in supplying the retail market, which is not answering its phones today.
Customers unable to place orders are trying to find alternative suppliers as they prepare for the Christmas shopping season.
IT-Online tried to contact the company, but received no response at either the Johannesburg head office or Cape Town branch.
Earlier today, someone did answer the Durban phone but was unable to confirm whether the company was trading or not.
At the time of going to press, IT-Online was unable to contact anyone at Incredible Solutions, or gain confirmation of its trading status from its partners.
Incredible Solutions supplies IT services, accessories and products through its retail partners. Its product lines include hardware, software, digital equipment, computer accessories, and consumables.
The company, with about 120 employees, was founded in 1996 and is a supplier to national chain stores like Game and Dion Wired.
As well as product supply, Incredible Solutions is involved in repairs and maintenance, onsite service, technical support, and logistics.
Update: IT-Online has learnt that Incredible Solutions has filed for voluntary liquidation. It is still unconfirmed what the value of the loss could be to the industry.
