The International Consumer Electronics Show, kicking off at the Las Vegas Convention Centre on Monday 8 January, will highlight the emergence of Internet-delivered entertainment as the PC grows even cosier with the TV.

According to Intel, it will also demonstrate the "renaissance" of the PC with new Intel dual- and quad-core processors and exciting new operating systems.
