Microsoft supremo Bill Gates scored a breathtaking $580-million in February by selling 20-million shares – four million of them literally days before Microsoft's stock price hit a five-month low. 

According to filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Gates sold 2-million shares last Monday – a day before the market plunged to a five-year low and Microsoft stock shed 4,1% – at an average price of $28.99, raking in $58-million. In the following two days he sold another 2-million shares for $56.8-million.
Gates still owns 917,5-million Microsoft shares.
