Gartner has selected Cura Software Solution as part of its Finance GCRM (Governance Risk & Compliance Management) Magic Quadrant Research. Gartner is viewed as the key research reference for enterprise software decision makers.
The research was conducted by Gartner experts over a lengthy time period. Vendors had to show significant client traction in financial related GCRM applications (such as SOX) in multiple markets, and have a significant customer base in a number of territories.
Additionally, the software reviewed needed to meet minimum criteria set including advanced reporting, dashboards, workflow, finance and other business systems integration, support for multiple frameworks, risk and control assessment and management as well as a clear product vision and roadmap.
This is a great success story for the South African Software Development market. Cura is a dynamic South African company that is taking the world by storm in the field of enterprise software for Governance, Risk Compliance (GRC) and related Performance Management.
Cura was one of a handful of global companies to receive this recognition.
Howard Zev, vice-president: business development for Cura in Johannesburg, notes that: “Cura is honoured to be included in Gartner’s research and publication. Our business and product strategy are beginning to bear fruit in new markets and being recognized in this manner adds credibility and validates our offerings.”
In its research Gartner mentioned that Cura’s biggest strengths included its risk-based approach to GCRM and its risk related capabilities. Cura was also complemented on its strong channel sales strategy.
