HP is to licence technology to manufacture nanocicuits, which it has developed over the last decade of atomic scale electronics manufacture.

Start-up Nanolithosolutions will license the technology and will seel equicpment back to HP for the manufacture of nanotech circuits.
The process being licensed allows wire patterns less than 50 atoms wide to be printed on a circuit, with line widths between the wires of 15 nanometers – about one-third the dimension of chips due for release this year.
The HP technology is similar to "stamping" out nanocircuits, unlike the more commonly-used photolithography (etching using light) that most chip manufacturers use.
