Compuware has introduced Vantage Service Manager, a business service management solution that enables organisations to optimise IT service delivery in accordance with business needs. 

Vantage Service Manager, based on Compuware’s recent acquisition of Proxima Technology’s Centauri Business Service Manager, has been fully integrated into the Compuware Vantage product line and enhanced to further meet customers’ needs.
Despite a significant investment in application and infrastructure management tools as well as service desk software, IT leadership and their line-of-business counterparts often lack effective means to align IT service delivery with business objectives.
Vantage Service Manager directly addresses this by associating business services to the supporting application infrastructure. This provides a cohesive view of service delivery – enabling the IT organization to effectively communicate with their business counterparts and maximize operational effectiveness.

The product delivers prepackaged dashboards for IT and line-of-business users in order to better meet the needs of enterprise customers. These out-of-the-box dashboards provide real-time and historical information regarding business-critical services, enabling enterprises to quickly achieve value from their BSM implementation.
