The man responsible for the launch of Microsoft's new flagship operating system Windows Vista in South Africa, Jonathan Hatchuel, is leaving the company.

According to sources, Hatchuel is emigrating to Australia to take up a position at EMC in that country as part of its Microsoft development team.
Hatchuel's departure comes just weeks after the departure of Bradley Hopkinson to join Simeka BSG as group executive: operations. Hopkinson, who was assigned to Microsoft Africa, had been co-opted as acting OEM operations manager in South Africa before the official appointment of Reggie Nxumalo – former HP IPG head – in that position.
