Faritec hopes to increase its public sector business by 100%, to contribute 20% of the company's business by the end of this financial year.

With an anticipated turnover of R1,25-billion for the year, the public sector operation will have to generate revenues of R250-millionm.
The company has set up a dedicated public sector business unit, which has adopted a streamlined and cohesive approach in a bid to reach its goals of better addressing the government business opportunity.
Vincent Williams, public sector business unit manager of Faritec, comments: “Our goal is to co-ordinate the efforts of the individual business units, enabling a team to approach prospective public sector clients with a unified offering.”
Faritec already boasts a substantial contract with the Gauteng Department of Public Transport, Roads & Works and has an existing team of account executives with responsibility for specific government agencies and departments.
“To date, we have received a highly positive response and are confident about the exciting potential this market offers us," says Williams.
