After a short tenure as the chief of Unisys Africa, industry veteran Henry Ferreira has resigned from the company to join Microsoft South Africa.
Ferreira, who will start at Microsoft on 1 September, will head up its Enterprise and Partner Group. He replaces Hennie Loubser who has resigned.
"I'm really looking forward to joining Microsoft," Ferreira says. "And running the EPG business is a very nice opportunity."
Some of the positions Ferreira has held in the local IT industry in a career spanning three decades include country manager of Compaq and MD of Hewlett-Packard South Africa. Last year, he returned to South Africa after stints with HP UK and Nokia.
