Finalists for call centre awards revealed

Contact in Gauteng (CiG) has released its shortlist of finalists for the prestigious annual BPO Awards for 2007. Winners will be announced at the awards event on 25 August. 

The finalists in the various categories are as follows:
Customer Service Award: Digital Solutions Group; Liberty Life; and Softline Pastel.
Quest Community Spirit Award: Kelly; Liberty Life; and Softline Pastel.
HR Service Provider: i-Fundi; Matlejoane Staffing Services; and Quest Flexible Staffing Solutions.
Telkom Technical Innovation Award: Intelleca; Inter-Active Technologies; CCN Group; and FNB Contact Centres.
Best Outbound Campaign: iChoices Call Centre Outsourcing; and SPM Direct Holdings.
Matlejoane Staffing Services Best BPO / Contact Centre: Call Centre Nucleus – BMW; Direct Channel Holdings; and Liberty Life.
Coega Trainer of the Year: Julia Mmita Kgoele – Merchants SA – Vodacom Business Unit; and Mehmood Jogee – FNB Contact Centres.
CallForce Direct Agent of the Year: Jasmina Ajoodha – Standard Bank; Stefan Smit – Standard Bank; and Tsakani Faith Valoyi – AvantiCall.
Old Mutual Supervisor of the Year: Brendon Tyron – GPG Contact Centre; Mandi Simelane – iChoices Call Centre Outsourcing; and Taheer Abed – Merchants SA – Vodacom Business Unit.
Dimension Data Manager of the Year: Mandy Ord – iChoices Call Centre Outsourcing; Shardla Raghununan – CCN Group; and Wayne Bradbury – Standard Bank – Customer Contact Centre.
Gauteng SME BPO CEO Award: Adelaide Matlejoane – Matlejoane Staffing Services; Bulelwa Koyana – Lathita Contact Services; Dizzy Milne – Contact Sense; Greg Sarandos – Andromeda Call Centre Solutions; and Rod Jones – Rod Jones Strategic Solutions.
