SecureData signs up Juniper Networks

SecureData Security has expanded its distribution relationship with Juniper Networks to include South Africa and the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

SecureData Security will distribute Juniper Networks’ entire portfolio of networking and security solutions including integrated firewall/virtual private network (VPN) solutions, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) products,  Secure Access (SA) SSL VPN appliances and the enterprise routing portfolio with the J-series and entry level M-series products to authorized J-Partners within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to SecureData Security’s MD Brett Parker the extended distribution agreement will bode well for those channel partners focused on converging technologies and integrated security solutions.
“Partners require platform-based, holistic security solutions rather than single, point-product sales,” says Parker.  “As a leader in high-performance networking and security solutions, Juniper is well positioned to help channel partners sell locally, as well as internationally.
"Combining Juniper Networks’ high-performance product portfolio with the investments SecureData is making to drive awareness will bring new business opportunities to our partners across the board.”
SecureData has also extended its Training Academy to include Juniper Networks.
“We are making a number of investments in all areas of our business to ultimately benefit local customers and channel partners, as well as strengthen the relationship between Juniper Networks and SecureData,” says Parker.
“South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa are emerging markets within our distribution strategy and present a great opportunity to recruit new J-Partners,” says Andy Travers, channel director for UK, Ireland and South Africa, Juniper Networks.
