IT services and solution provider, Datacentrix, has been awarded a three year contract by Virgin Active South Africa to rollout a total print, fax, scan and copy solution to the company’s Cape Town-based head office as well more than 80 clubs nationwide.
The Datacentrix Managed Output Services (MOS) will allow Virgin Active to standardise equipment (HP), have a single point of contact for printing and copying requirements and save on the high cost layout experienced in the current environment.
Datacentrix was awarded the contract to implement and manage the new HP devices, as well as maintain existing equipment. This balanced deployment strategy presented the ideal option for Virgin Active as new multifunctional devices will only replace older equipment if needed, leading to improved TCO. Datacentrix has also incorporated the hardware costs in the price per page to Virgin Active.
The new equipment will be rolled out to four separate areas within each club, each with its own specific requirements, and will be managed from a central point in Cape Town, enabling Datacentrix to report on all devices and volumes printed and copied on a national basis. Datacentrix will also implement SishaFax’ fax-to2-e-mail solution for Virgin Active.
