Google will be looking for a new chief financial officer from next year, following the news that the incumbent, George Reyes, is to retire.

Reyes, just 53 years old, would appear to be leaving the company at the pinnacle of its achievement.
He has been in the top financial position since 2002 and helped steer the search giant to its current leadership position.
Given that his stock options are worth about $26-million, he can probably look forward to a comfortable retirement.
